November Shout-outs and Honorable Mentions: A Review of TOC Growth

2–3 minutes

Welcome back family, friends, and neighbors! Thank you for joining us for this month’s check in on what our TOC team has been up to! Let’s start with the lucky individuals we’d like to give a spotlight this month:

1. Pat – Gold Medal Winner 🥇

We are so proud of Pat and his achievement of winning the gold medal in Special Olympics! We are so delighted to have him representing us and putting himself out there, and we can’t wait to see what next season has in store for him. He’s #1!

2. Katherine – Strides for Self-Growth 😌

Between starting services with a nutritionist to going to job fairs to secure employment, Katherine has been really working to grow as an individual for her health and independence, and we are grateful to be a part of her journey!

3. Double Commendations to Nicki and Amber – Rent Well Certified 🎓

Please join me in celebrating Nicki and Amber’s accomplishment in becoming Rent Well graduates! The course is a 15-hour program that empowers residents with the knowledge and skills to navigate renting successfully. Congrats to both students, excellent work!

Honorable Mentions

And now, some honorable mentions for our esteemed employees:

  • Kristin: thank you for being TOC’s scheduler and hiring manager, we appreciate all the hard work you do for supporting the growth of our agency!
  • Colleen, Sara, and Rene: these DSPs were all given high praise from their fellow coworkers for being skilled at collaborative teamwork and for assisting clients with a smooth transition in care. These three outstanding individuals were given complements on having great, comprehensive care for their clients and ensuring they are receiving optimal care 👏
  • Paige: it has been almost a full year since your promotion to director, and your compassionate and dedication are essential to keeping this company running. We are so grateful to have you!

Lastly, we have some exciting news about some upcoming changes coming soon to TOC! Tanisha and Sid have completed their training to become benefits counselors, and will be providing virtual support to clients about government benefits, starting work with benefits, and how to navigate the SSA and DHS. We are delighted to be starting this service soon along with behavioral support services as well! We are growing fast and so pleased to be accepted by our community as we work to provide the most support we can to our sensational clients. Thanks for being here with me today and farewell until next time 👋
